Welcome to Liberty & Asociates Ltd. Home Page. Liberty & Associates Ltd. headquartered in Montreal, Quebec, has provided quality information technology services to businesses of all sizes, in a wide variety of industries since 1972.

Liberty & Associates Ltd. is an IBM Business Partner. We can provide solutions/services for the IBM AS/400 family of computers, including IBM S/36 to AS/400 migration. Our team also have network and personal computer expertise to help you implement your PC network.

We focus on keeping abreast of the information technology industry so that our clients can attend to their respective businesses.

In conjunction with its efforts worldwide to promote, develop and implement a wide variety of e-Business solutions, IBM has instituted a series of programs requiring IBM Business Partner certification.

These certification programs touch on most of IBM's platforms, technical services and sales support. AS/400 Business Partners worldwide were required to pass a series of demanding and comprehensive certification exams prior to April 15, 1999.

The AS/400 certification exams required a thorough knowledge and understanding of all the AS/400 models, configuration options, technical/performance characteristics and existing or hypothetical operating environments.

After several hundred hours of review and study, three individuals from Liberty & Associates took the exams and met the certification requirements with their initial effort. They are:

IBM considers these people to be certified for AS/400 Sales Support and AS/400 Technical Solutions.

In the coming weeks and months IBM will be realigning its business plans and client services to ensure that their customers are supported and serviced by IBM-certified Business Partners. This significant transition will ensure that IBM's clients worldwide continue to receive the highest quality of support and services from IBM and its certified Business Partners.

When dealing with IBM or IBM Business Partners, you should request and review the certification status of individuals presented to you for consideration - you don't have to settle for "second best".
